Traditional Village Pub
With its two traditional bars the Bull is a classic example of a Victorian country pub and it is essentially still a village local.
The pub serves a good range of real ales and has a beer festival every year. There is a street food van from assorted artisan suppliers on Friday or Saturday evenings and sometimes both. There’s also live music most Saturday nights.
As well as darts and dominoes there is an old Penny in the Hole game, where the hole is in a seat in one of the bars. The Bull has unusual old iron lattice windows which are typical of the area.

Yes, it’s a bit hard to get to, but well worth it.
