Rural Gems

Rural Gems are the very few remaining no-frills country pubs, which have been unchanged for decades. They will have simple chairs and tables and an open fireplace and sometimes high settles, and they may have beer drawn from the barrel. They often disappear when a long-standing licensee retires but thankfully many have been preserved by new owners.
