Arts & Crafts Pubs
The Arts and Crafts Movement was a style of decorative arts that began in Britain in the 1840s inspired by the work of John Ruskin and William Morris. Although it was a strong influence on the Art Nouveau pubs of the 1890s it only really came into its own in pub decoration and design from about 1905 to 1920. It was based on a rejection of industrial methods and was inspired by medieval art and architecture.
