Fothergills, Nottingham

5-7 Castle Road
City Centre
0115 958 8195

Fothergills is part of a row of distinctive buildings along Castle Road in Nottingham designed by Victorian architect Watson Fothergill. The pub is named after its architect and it’s in his Old English style with a rounded conical turret and imposing chimneys. The Castle, just up the street is part of the same group and Fothergill also designed the even more extravagant Rose of England.

The pub, with its minimalist interior, has more of the feel of an upmarket cafe bar, opening for breakfast and serving high quality meals.
