The pub name gives away its main focus and the Bridge Bier Huis has one of the best selections of beer in Burnley and East Lancashire. While there are only four UK real ales there is a huge range of German and other European beers on tap and in bottle.
The Bridge is an Edwardian town centre pub (photo 1) built in 1905 according to the elegant carved stone sign on the corner (photo 2). It was an Inn before it was a Bier Huis and the old name lives on in both the carved sign and the lovely art nouveau cut glass window (photo 3).
