This a great little bar with a couple of booths, a few stools around the walls and bar and a tiny downstairs room. As you may have guessed, there’s a mouthwatering selection of home made pies and sausage rolls, and there are occasional pie events with top chefs.
The beers are good too, with three well chosen cask ales, mostly from Yorkshire breweries like Meanwood, Ilkley and Small World, plus Guinness and a lager from Stancill Brewery.
The bar is a few doors down from the Cardigan Arms and a short walk from Kirkstall Brewery Tap, and is definitely worth a stop to try some ales that aren’t from Kirkstall. And for some pies of course.
