The whitewashed Brook House Inn is a popular hotel in picturesque Eskdale in the Lake District western fells. It is on the the road leading to the tortuous climbs over Hardknott and Wrynose Passes, and close to Dalegarth station on the La’al Ratty narrow gauge steam railway.
There is a good range of local ales and food is served all day. Along with other pubs in the village the Brook House takes part in the annual Boot Beer Festival, usually in June, when more than 100 beers are available.
