The Brown Cow sits in a picturesque location next to the River Aire and a 13th century bridge (photo 1). It’s a Timothy Taylor’s pub and has been a popular destination for diners and families around Leeds and Bradford for as long as I can remember.
It is a fixture in the Good Beer Guide and usually sells all 6 of Taylor’s regular beers. Rock and pop bands play once or twice a month on Friday or Saturday evenings – details are on the pub’s Facebook page.
The image of the inn sign (photo 2) was taken a few years ago before Taylors did their gastro blue/grey rebranding.
