The Brown Cow is an award-winning cask beer pub on the edge of Keighley town centre. It’s a proper free house with no ties and serves seven cask ales. Regulars are Landlord and Boltmaker from Taylor’s Brewery just up the road, and Spring Wells from Goose Eye, just outside Keighley. There are four changing guest beers, mostly from breweries in Yorkshire and the north. There is usually one real cider on handpump and others available from the cellar. It regularly wins Pub of the Year or Pub of the Season awards from the local Camra branch.

There is one comfortable L shaped room and a small function room available for meetings. A quiz takes place on Wednesdays and a board games group meets every week. Board games are available any time along with dominoes, cards and chess.
