The Cobb Arms in Lyme Regis sits right on the quayside and is named after the harbour wall which featured in Jane Austen’s Persuasion and the John Fowles novel The French Lieutenant’s Woman.
It’s owned by the long-established local brewery Palmers and like all their outlets is a proper pub, serving good traditional pub food and the full range of Palmer’s beers. It also does accommodation in three ensuite rooms.
