Traditional Town Pub

The Craven Arms in Birmingham has an excellent yellow and blue tiled frontage advertising the long gone Holders Brewery (photos 1, 2 & 4). Holders was a medium sized Birmingham brewery and they commissioned architect Arthur Edward to rebuild the Craven Arms in 1906. It was probably a prestige project to make their name known in the city centre. The pub is now owned by Black Country Ales who refurbished the interior in 2022 (photo 3).

The pub has a great range of ales with at least 8 cask beers and 4 craft keg beers on tap. Cobs, pies and sausage rolls are available all day.
