This is a Cotswold stone country pub built in the late 17th century, although there has been an alehouse on the site since at least 1583.

The pub majors on dining, with food sourced locally, but there is also space for drinkers. Wye Valley Butty Bach is a regular cask beer with the guest beer usually from a local brewery. Dunkertons real cider is also served.

There is also accommodation with seven en-suite rooms.
