The Plough is a Grade II listed 17th century Cotswold stone country pub just outside Temple Guiting in the hamlet of Ford. It has an unchanged interior with four rooms with stone-flagged floors, low beams, an old settle and shuttered windows.
The pub serves all the three regularly brewed ales from the nearby Donnington Brewery. Food though is the main focus, and the pub has a reputation for excellent locally sourced meals which are served all day.
The stables of champion horseracing trainer Jonjo O’Neill are close by and this is reflected in the pictures and mementoes in the pub. The Plough was voted Channel 4 Racing Pub of the Year in 2013.
