Railway Buffet Bar, 3* Heritage Pub
Nationally famous for being one of very few remaining licenced station buffet bars, this is a great pub as well. The main bar is the original buffet bar with an ancient marble topped counter and open fireplace. It’s been extended over time into a conservatory at one end and the old station building at the other.
There’s a choice of 10 changing local and regional cask ales and one or two real ciders, plus a good choice of food, including pies with hot black peas.
