The Tyndrum Inn is a hotel on the main A82 road and the railway line from Glasgow to Oban and Fort William. The hotel and the village are a popular stop-off for tourists and travellers.
It was an early pioneer of real ale in Scotland and I remember day trips by train when I lived in Glasgow in the 1980s. We went for a short walk on the West Highland Way followed by a meal and a few pints in the Tyndrum and then the train home.
