Urban Gems

Urban Gems are the very few remaining no-frills town pubs with a local clientele, a warm welcome and with a focus mainly on drinking and conversation. They may also do food but they are not dining pubs. Some may have been unchanged for decades and will have two or more rooms and some original features. They often disappear when a long-standing licensee retires but thankfully many have been preserved by new owners.
