Vat & Fiddle, Nottingham

Queens Bridge Road
City Centre
Nottingham
Nottinghamshire
NG2 1NB

The Vat & Fiddle, close to Nottingham station, is the Castle Rock brewery tap and serves all of their beers. The brewery is one of the oldest of the ‘new’ breweries, becoming Castle Rock in 1998 but originally formed as Tynemill Brewery in 1977.

The pub was built in the Moderne style of Art Deco architecture in 1938, designed by W.B. Starr & Hall.  They built other Nottingham pubs in the same style including the Lord Roberts in the city centre and the Crown in the suburbs.
