Art Nouveau Pubs

Art Nouveau is a style of architecture and decorative arts that was most popular between 1890 and 1910, about the same time as the "Golden Age of Pub Building".  The Art Nouveau in pubs of this period is expressed in ornamental decoration both outside and inside with styles inspired by flowers and plants and featuring curves and curls. It was applied to stonework, metalwork, windows, mirrors and ceramics.
