The Black Country has some of the most highly regarded traditional pubs in the country. Many are run by longstanding local breweries like Batham’s and Holden’s and by modern breweries with traditional leanings like Black Country Ales.

Where is the Black Country?

The boundaries are debated but it’s an area west of Birmingham roughly from Wolverhampton and Walsall in the north to Stourbridge and Halesowen in the south.
